I truly understand how frustrating an unbalanced, stiff, or resistant horse can be…
I am a fully qualified and insured Equine Massage Therapist and Bodyworker with a lifetime of horse experience, including competing with my own event mare, Lily (pictured above). Knowing firsthand how frustrating a stiff, unbalanced or resistant horse can be, inspired me to train in bodywork - I wanted to make a difference and give something back to my most favourite animal on the planet, horses. This deep rooted passion and lifelong experience, combined with my professional qualifications, is what enables me to deliver highly effective equine massage and bodywork treatments that truly benefit you and your horse.
My Expertise & Services
Massage and bodywork function as a form of equine physiotherapy. I offer tailored therapies specific to your horse's current condition, incorporating:
Manual Therapies: Soft tissue massage, fascia release, joint mobilisations, and targeted stretches.
Advanced Modalities: Phototherapy (LLLT), and heat therapy.
Exercise Prescription: Groundwork and ridden exercises for rehabilitation and strengthening.
Why Equine Bodywork Matters
Domesticated life places unique demands on horses that they would never experience in the wild, from wearing tack and rugs to travelling in a horsebox and carrying a rider’s weight. Because horses are inherently stoic, loyal creatures, stiffness and pain can build up silently and often, what looks like disobedience or a behavioural issue is actually a cry for help.
Regular bodywork is a vital proactive tool for all horses, ensuring they stay comfortable and mobile:
Competition Horses: Improve performance, recovery and reduce the risk of injury whatever your level of competition.
Leisure Horses & Happy Hackers: Maintain suppleness, balance, wellbeing and reduce the risk of injury.
Horses out of work: Support and improve recovery during box-rest or aid retirement by improving circulation, mobility, lymphatic drainage and mental wellbeing.
Your horse will thank you for the routine care – trust me. Get in touch to book an appointment today I look forward to meeting you and your horse soon!

A brief history of my life with horses

Cracker-Jack
This is me with my first pony Cracker-Jack. Cracker was only 3 years old when we bought him and I was only 12.
Cracker taught me the art of “falling” with his very cheeky character and super smart bucks! Furthermore, he was the inspiration behind my memoir “My Cracker-Jack Adventures” which is a great, fun, hang-onto-your-pants, nostalgic read for any horse lover, young or old.

Tammy
Tammy was my first introduction to horses and she taught me a lot in the short time she was part of my life.
The above photo is us at a Pony Cub Open SJ Qualifier - the biggest jumps I had ever attempted at 3’6”, but Tammy looked after me & we sailed through to the finals.
At only 15hh she was only small, but she left a big imprint in my heart.

Zing
This is Zing, who further challenged my horsemanship taking me to a whole new level of riding and compeition and building my passion for eventing.
She was exactly as her name suggests, full of energy, personality and a total fruit loop. So brave and honest, we had the most amazing experiences together and best of all, she even gave me the gift of Lily.

Lily
Lily was Zing’s 2nd foal who I first met when she was kust 6 months old, peering over the stable door with her twin sister.
In the photo above, she is age 5 and we are tackling her first ever HT. Talent was this girl’s middle name but sadly she was plagued by a back injury. However, thanks to regular equine therapy, we did go on to event successfully, which inspired me to follow this career myself.
